  • Achieving growth and hit sales targets (monthly/quarterly/yearly) by successfully managing the sales team
  • Designing and implementing a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Maintaining business development goals and objectives through KPI reporting, process documentation, CRM analysis, or training or safety records
  • Reviewing global, national, or regional transportation or logistics reports for ways to improve efficiency or minimize the environmental impact of logistics activities
  • Maintaining business relationships with accounts and develop new opportunities
  • Resolving customer complaints regarding sales and service
  • Estimating or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
  • Maintaining contact with key markets by visiting and investigating the operations and local conditions
  • Reviewing operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability
  • Monitoring customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
  • Conferring with department heads to plan advertising services
  • Communicate freight transportation information to customers or suppliers, using transportation management, electronic logistics marketplace, or electronic freight information systems, to improve efficiency, speed, or quality of transportation services
  • Additional duties as assigned


  • Two (2)+ years of related outside sales experience, with a demonstrable book of business and strong shipper relationships in diversified industries
  • A unique combination of good interpersonal and communications/presentation skills, both written and oral, coupled with a sharp business acumen and consultative sales approach
  • Good working knowledge of freight forwarding services, including ocean (NVOCC) and air freight (import & export), consolidation, customs brokerage and related value added information services
  • The ability to sell solutions oriented 3PL products (PO/Vendor/cargo management & origin services, warehousing/distribution, etc.)
  • Understanding of the global pepper and/or coffee, cashew supply chain including production, processing, shipping and manufacturing
  • Knowledge of international market structure for coffee, spices and nuts.
  • Knowledge of contract terms and of import/export and logistics processes
  • Knowledge of futures and hedging
  • Self-Disciplined, Self-Starter
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Fluent in English
