Chili in Vietnam
Vietnam, a country blessed by nature in terms of soil and climate, is an ideal natural condition for the development of crops, and chili is no exception.
This has resulted in a special flavor for Vietnamese chili that can’t be found anyplace else; hot chili pepper has a hotness of 100,000 SHU, while hot red pepper has a hotness of 30,000 SHU (SHU is the Scoville heat unit used to measure the spiciness or heat of food)
Chili is grown in many different areas from North to South in Vietnam such as Quang Binh, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Tien Giang, Dong Thap, and many other provinces.
